The Department of Electronics and Telecommunications was initiated in July 1992 and has since then seen tremendous growth in all aspects. Our staff, actively involved in research and publication, is considered one of the finest in Mumbai University . Many members of the faculty have had their papers published in conferences and journals of national and international repute. The postgraduate section is also well acclaimed for its effective teaching and state of the art projects. The department laboratories are being reinstated with new equipment ordered for the term. The students can also benefit from the new Optical Fiber Communication Lab being set up. The Electronics and Telecommunications department has flourished due to the collective efforts of the management, skilled staff and an efficient student base.

The institute is committed towards disseminating knowledge and providing students with an education that is well-balanced in terms of academics as well as opportunities to excel in extra-curricular activities. This has been made possible due to the efforts of every individual staff member and student, who have instilled in themselves a sense of commitment towards this cause.
